OUTRIGGER WAIKIKI PARADISE HOTEL, Honolulu – A Smart Stay in the City

I was pleasantly surprised by the room I stayed in. It was dated but comfortable and clean, with a long but narrow balcony offering a nice view of Waikiki and partial ocean views. The amenities provided, like a big screen LG HDTV, coffee maker, refrigerator, balcony with chairs, comfortable beds, AC, and clean shower, made my stay enjoyable. The service was a mix of outstanding and lacking. Abby stood out with her local knowledge and bubbly personality, helping us book great adventures. However, the regular room cleaning was inconsistent, and some staff members seemed a bit rude at times. Nevertheless, the hotel seems to embrace the 'Aloha' mentality. The location was both a highlight and a drawback. It was convenient to shops, restaurants, and a trolley, with the added bonus of free travel on the Pink trolley during the stay. However, being close to the service areas meant noise from cleaning carts and elevators. The dining experience was decent, with a breakfast buffet available for a good deal. The facilities were sufficient, offering dry cleaning, housekeeping, shuttle service, and a welcoming atmosphere. One downside was the lack of breakfast at the pool. Overall, the hotel provided a mix of positive and negative experiences.
